COVID-19 Parish Update
The Bishop of  Austin, Most Rev. Joe Vasquez, issued a pastoral letter to the Faithful of the Diocese of Austin on April 30, 2020. In the letter the Bishop has issued  a decree that public masses will resume effective My 5, 2020. It is important to note that the dispensation of the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and other holy days of obligation will remain in effect. This is out of concern for the elderly, those with underlying health conditions, the sick who are at high risk of contracting Covid-19 as well as their care givers. Furthermore, since it is not possible for all people to attend Mass on Sundays as we begin the reopening process and we ask all faithful to be patient and to consider attending Mass on a different day of the week. We are still limited in our ability to fully congregate, but parishes will continue to livestream the Mass for those unable to attend. It will be live streamed and shared on our website at www.holyrosaryfrenstat.com and our Facebook page at, www.facebook.com/HolyRosaryFrenstatTx.
 
For now, St. Mary and Holy Rosary will continue with the “Temporary Mass Schedule,” May 5th through May 29th. During the first phase of the temporary Mass schedule, we will continue to encourage parishioners to maintain 6-feet of distance between each other (by way of the tabbed markings on the pews) and limit the number of attendance to 25% capacity. Hand sanitizing stations will be made available at the entrance of the parish and if you would like to wear a facemask to Masses you are encouraged to do so.
 
Masses will be celebrated the following times -
St.  Mary
Wednesday and Thursday Mass at 10:30 am and Friday Mass at 11:00 am
Saturday, May 23rd and May 30th Mass at 5:30 pm in English
Sunday Masses at 9:30 am - These Masses will be livestreamed
 
Holy Rosary
Tuesday Mass at 5:00 pm
Sunday Mass at 11:30 am - These Masses will be livestreamed
 
The weekend of May 31st will be the last weekend for the temporary Mass schedule. We will return to the regular Mass schedule the week of June 1st.

• All Public Masses are suspended as per the decree from the Bishop of Austin
  • Mass intentions for weekday Masses will be moved to the next available date
  • Mass intentions for weekend Masses will still be honored in a private Mass for the people of our parishes and those remembered in the intentions
• Sunday Morning Religious Education (Grades K - 12th) will be cancelled March 22nd - April 12th
• Bulletins can be found online, on the website and at the parish
• Copies of Scholarship Applications for graduating Seniors are available on the table in the day chapel at St. Mary and will be available on the St. Mary Website
• The KC Fish Fry on Friday, April 3, 2020 is cancelled.
